Take the required quantity of Idly/Dosa Batter Powder in a bowl.
Add water gradually and mix well to make a smooth batter.
Allow the batter to ferment for 6–8 hours or overnight.
Add salt as required and mix gently.
Pour into greased idli moulds or onto a tawa for dosa. Steam idlis for 10–12 minutes.
Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
